Our Story
Our family has long dreamt of having the honor of giving you a glimpse back in time with horse drawn transportation. Shire power is the fuel that sustains our business. Whether we are working on the farm, working in public, or one of our young daughters is on the lines representing the Shire horse in a youth class the end result is always the same; we have a blast with this versatile breed! Their strength, willingness, and gentle demeanors have made them a pivotal part of our lives. They have been a blessing to our whole family. After all, these gentle giants of the horse world are truly the original machine. The Premier Machine! We are and will always be proud representatives of the Shire draft horse.
The Driving Force
We own five ASHA registered Shires. This outstanding breed of feathered draft horse originates from England. Their colors are bay, black and most uncommon-grey. According to the American Shire Horse Association, there are only about 3,000 ASHA registered Shires in the WORLD today. So as you can see, this is not only a stunning breed of horse but they are also rare! The Premier Machine Shires are named Wolkyn, Rahk, Bannox, Mahsellik and Mashkaw.
